FERTILIZATION

What is slow release fertilizer?

Unlike many franchises and nationwide companies that use liquid (punch in the face) fertilizer we use granular slow release fertilizer. Our granular fertilizer slowly releases nutrients overtime and eliminates unhealthy surge growth.

What is in our fertilizer?

We use organic based slow release fertilizer and are not afraid to show you exactly what it is made of! Though the composition of each treatment is different depending on your lawn and the time of year each fertilizer contains Nitrogen (top growth), Phosphorous (root development), and Potassium (fortification). Weed Control

We all try so hard to have a nice, green, lush lawn and then pesky weeds show up and try to ruin all that work. Thankfully the Full Circle team can help. Weeds try and steal essential nutrients, water, and sunlight from your plants and grass. At Full Circle we treat for weeds from spring to fall to give your alcatraz like control over weeds. 

We start by applying a granular based pre-emergent to your property to stop the weed seeds from germinating (growing). Pre-emergent is critical to prevent many broadleaf weeds including everyone's least favorite weed… crabgrass. Any weed that makes it through the pre-emergent treatment is no match for our post-emergent products that quickly eradicate it so it doesn't come back. 

Are your products kid and pet safe?

Yes, all of our products are kid and pet safe. Please allow 1 hour after the application before you let the dogs out or go back to playing fetch so the lawn can absorb the treatment for maximum efficacy (effectiveness).

What types of weeds do you treat?

We treat any and all weed types in your yard. While some companies charge extra for nutsedge and other “hard-to-kill” weeds our team at Full Circle has you covered with our all-inclusive service.

Soil/Lawn Lab Analysis

All these companies claim a “custom” plan for your yard… that is not possible without a soil test because after years of treatments with ‘the big guys’ we have no idea what is going on. Healthy soil is the #1 contributing factor to a green and vibrant lawn. At Full Circle every new customer gets a free soil test so our knowledgeable technicians can tailor our program to your lawn specifically.

Fungus & Disease Control

Our curative one time treatments for Brown Patch, Red Thread, Necrotic Ring Spot, and many other diseases and fungi stop them in their tracks. We use targeted liquid fungicide to only treat the affected areas. This treatment is guaranteed for the entire season meaning if your disease or fungi comes back so do we.

Lime Applications

Lime applications are used to raise soil pH (acidity). In Bucks County our untreated soil pH is generally between 5.0 and 6.5 this can be way too acidic for a healthy cool season lawn. For our most common grass types the pH needs to be between 6.0 and 7.0. At Full Circle we use your soil test to see if your lawn needs a soil correction with a lime treatment. If it does our expert technicians will calculate the perfect amount of lime and apply that to your property to correct your pH. After your soil has been corrected our Gold Package includes a pH maintaining treatment so your lawn will stay at the proper pH as long as Full Circle is treating it. 

In the past I was told I needed lime without a soil test. 

Whoever said that was guessing at best. Well… maybe if they ate some of your soil they can taste pH (kidding). Though pine trees do naturally make soil more acidic so you will always need lime around those.

Grub Control

As the old saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. All of our lawn care packages include a grub preventer at the beginning of summer to prevent these pesky little bugs from wreaking havoc on your lawn. If you do not utilize our preventative treatments we also offer a curative solutions. As soon as you start to notice grub damage on your lawn we need to treat it immediately to prevent more damage. Because grubs eat the roots of the grass, the damage is irreversible and will require sod or overseeding to repair the damaged area.

How do I know if I have grubs?

• Patches of dead, brown grass
• Grass that can easily be peeled from the ground
• When you pull the grass back you should be able to see little C shaped beetle-larvae
• Increased sightings of grub feeding animals in your yard, such as racoons and birds
  

Aeration & Overseeding Services

Liquid Aeration

Liquid aerations use folic and humic acid (which is 100% people and pet safe) to break down thatch and create microscopic pores in your soil lowering compaction and allowing nutrients, water, and sunlight to reach your lawns roots. This treatment is included in our Gold package in the spring and fall.

Core Aeration

Core or mechanical aerations are done with an aerating machine that pokes tiny holes through the thatch and into your lawn that allows nutrients, water, and sunlight to reach your lawns roots. This will leave small cores of soil on top of your lawn that will breakdown providing extra nutrients. 

Overseeding

Overseeding pairs perfectly with an aeration because the seed will be able to make fantastic seed-soil contact in addition to establishing roots faster and easier. At Full Circle we use a custom blend of seed designed specially for Doylestown, PA. Unlike many other companies we apply 2-3 pounds of seed per 1000 square feet of lawn.
